Before you choose you will need to know about the profile of the agent and the company. It is important to do a little research about your shortlisted agents and see how many years they have been in business, the number of properties sold/rented and the size of the company, the number of employees working for them both as agents and office support staff can also give you a fair idea to base your research on.
Enquiring about the local knowledge of the agent is also important, agents with proper knowledge about the area you are interested in can give you best advice in terms of property valuation, trends in the area and will have along tem term vision which can be useful for investors. Real estate portals have agents list with reviews and ratings which can help in deciding to choose the tight real estate agent in Dubai.
Before you shortlist agents make sure to check if the agent has the necessary license to operate in the area and has passed the test required to become an agent. In Dubai the RERA certification is mandatory for agents to operate and carry out real estate transactions.

Look at the advertising of the agents company and that will tell you about the popularity of the company, but not only larger companies provide good service, the smaller ones are also more concerned about fulfilling the needs of the customer to gain returning business and word of mouth.
An old and proven way to choose an agent is by asking your friends about a good agent that have done business with and are fully satisfied with the service provided; in this way you can be sure as the agent has been recommended to you by someone you trust.
When you meet an agent face to face ask questions about the recent state of the real estate market in the area of interest and in the country, this will give you an idea of the agent’s knowledge of the real estate market and the experience you are looking for.

Dubai offers a wide variety of  communities each of them unique in their own way. Dubai’s name has always been associated with luxury and glamour and the residential communities complement to the image. However there are affordable communities which offer all modern facilities and amenities and still you will pay  less when compared to other cosmopolitan cities like London and New York. All the communities in Dubai no matter what the sale or rent price is promises complete peace of mind when it comes to security and amenities. The major concerns when  relocating to new city or community are distance from the workplace, schools in the community or nearby (and these schools have to be well reputed), retail center, healthcare facilities. All freehold communities in Dubai are self  sustained are providing the necessary and optional amenities. Living in a community like downtown Dubai means living in the centre of action, downtown Dubai is a vibrant community and home to the cities most happening events. On the other side communities like Jumeirah Village Circle are quite and serene. Budget also plays a primarily role when choosing an area to live.
Buying a townhouse in JVC can be cheaper than buying an apartment in downtown Dubai; rents are also marginally different in communities. Buying a studio in Dubai Marina is more expensive than buying a one bedroom in International city or Dubai sports city. There are many communities that  ere much affordable and some are very expensive when compared to the budget ones, however the price is justified by the kind of luxury the community offers. Villas in Palm Jumeirah have
private beaches and swimming pools that make them super expensive than villas in other communities that don’t have such facilities, but obviously having a private beach is not possible in a community like sports city or green community. Among the most sought after community in Dubai is Dubai Marina and this superb area has been in demand since many years and
a top priority for expatriates to live as the kind of amenities that are available here are unprecedented, access to the marina, best communal facilities, restaurants, cafes, outdoor sports, and strategic location is what keeps this community on top priority for people. People working in areas like Dubai Internet city and Dubai Media City like to live in this meticulously
planned community as they are living near to the workplace and also enjoying world class amenities and the atmosphere of a cosmopolitan city. As the property prices heightened after the property market started recovering from the 2008 crash and living in high end communities became expensive for the middle income expatriates the affordable communities started to witness demand, the areas like Dubai Sports city, Dubailand, Dubai Investment park are believed to be
the new development corridor and will the housing units in these communities will absorb the influx of expatriates and provide them a home in this extravagant city.
